Workers Foundation is a New York-based Islamic humanitarian charity dedicated to alleviating suffering and restoring dignity to the world's most vulnerable people. From our base at 788 Greta Place, Bellmore, New York, we reach across continents — delivering food, clean water, shelter, education, emergency relief, and sustainable development to communities devastated by war, disaster, and poverty.

Our work spans more than 10 countries, touching millions of lives across Yemen, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Lebanon, Iraq, and beyond. But behind every statistic is a real person — a child who now attends school, a widow who runs her own business, a family sleeping safely in a rebuilt home, a village with clean water for the first time.

Our Story
Workers Foundation was born from a simple but profound conviction: that faith without action is incomplete.
Inspired by the Islamic principle that the believer's obligation does not end at prayer and fasting — but extends to the orphan, the displaced, the hungry, and the forgotten — a group of committed individuals in New York came together with a shared purpose.
They saw a world where millions of Muslims and vulnerable people of all backgrounds were suffering without adequate support. They saw communities torn apart by conflict, families unable to feed their children, and women left without any means of survival after losing their husbands to war. And they believed that the example of the Holy Household (as) — whose entire lives were devoted to justice, compassion, and the service of the oppressed — demanded a response.
What began as a local effort to raise funds and awareness quickly grew into a structured, accountable, and impactful humanitarian organization. Programs expanded. Partner networks deepened. Field teams were deployed. And with every passing year, the reach of Workers Foundation has grown — not because of ambition, but because the need never stopped calling.
Today, Workers Foundation operates across multiple humanitarian sectors — food aid, water access, orphan and widow support, emergency response, housing reconstruction, and sustainable development — delivering both immediate relief and the kind of long-term investment that moves communities from survival to self-sufficiency.

Our mission is to deliver compassionate, faith-guided humanitarian aid to the world's most vulnerable communities — reducing suffering, restoring dignity, and empowering people to rebuild their lives.
We do this by responding rapidly to emergencies, delivering essential aid where it is needed most, and investing in sustainable programs that create lasting change. Whether it is a food parcel reaching a family in Kabul, a water well serving a village in rural Pakistan, or an orphan in Karbala receiving an education.
We are guided by the belief that all human life has inherent worth, and that those with the capacity to give carry a responsibility to those who have nothing.
